NACOSA is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of Data Capturer to review programmatic activity documentation, capture data on the provided database, and raise queries where necessary as part of data verification to ensure information captured is timely, accurate and complete.

Matric or an equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
At least 1 year’s general administration experience
Experienced in operating MS Office, in particular Excel, and working on a Data Management system.
Experience working in an NGO environment is advantageous.
Driver’s License with reliable transport

Good verbal and written communication skills
Good time management skills
Ability to prioritize effectively and work under pressure in a target driven environment.
High attention to detail and an orientation toward delivering high quality work.
Ability to work in a team.

Capture programmatic activities on the provided database timeously, accurately, and completely, while keeping to expected capturing speed and accuracy.
Perform first-line quality checks on the completeness and accuracy of information.
Follow the prescribed data capturing protocols and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive healthcare related information.
Assist with the management of hard copy files, as may needed, including, carrying boxes, filing, scanning, etc.
Provide informal guidance to facilitators on M&E policies and protocols.
Prepare files for site audit and ensure information needed is readily available.
Participate in weekly planning meetings to facilitate improved data flow, capturing and reporting.
Uphold and exemplify NACOSA, its vision, mission, values and objectives.
