Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):
• Electrical Trade Test
• Equivalent Electrical qualification registered and recognized by the government of RSA.
Experience:
• 2 Years relevant post qualification experience.
Skills and Competencies
• Good interpersonal relationship skills
• Good communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Ability to use diagnostic test equipment and instruments to assist in troubleshooting
• Problem solving skills
• Couching and on-job training skills
Knowledge:
• Understanding of transformers repair environment would be advantageous
• Thorough understanding of electrical circuits and knowledge of components
• Knowledge of SAP PM would be advantageous
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
Attributes:
• Ability to follow logical sequence of fault finding
• Ability to safely work on plant that is electrically energised i.e Live
• Willingness to work overtime if required
• Ability to work under pressure to restore plant to production in the shortest possible time
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces if required
