Sedibeng District Municipality is recruiting and inviting candidates to submit applications for the vacancy: Cashier Clerk [x10 posts].

CLUSTER: TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE & ENVIRONMENT (TIE)
DEPARTMENT: LICENSING
POSITION: CASHIER: CLERK (10 POSITIONS)
SALARY: Job Level 10 (R 246,708.00 -R 281,748. 00 annually) plus benefts for a Grade 11 local authority
JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for the processing of eNaTIS based and/or other relevant transactions/ functions at a License.
REQUIREMENT
- Grade 12
- Computer Literacy
EXPERIENCE
- Experience as a cashier/ clerk is required
DUTIES
Department in terms of applicable legislation, statutory requirements, GDRT directives, policies and the BPM etc. by:
- Assist/support the Enquiry, Receiving, and verification and Implementation personnel of MVRA section to ensuring an uninterrupted work flow.
- Customer satisfaction.
- Work related instruction
CONSENT
It will be expected from an applicant to sign a consent letter giving the SDM and GDRT authority to conduct a full background check and a vetting process.

Written Communication: The ability to follow basic instructions as contained in written communication. Able to respond in writing to basic types of communications
Oral Communication: Ability to articulate message in an understand verbal instructions from supervisors and colleagues. Confirms/clarifies understanding of instructions, thereby avoiding mistakes.
Attention to Detail: Ability to scrutinize own work for errors and omissions before submissions.
Influencing: The ability to interact with others and influence them to adopt the best alternative from a range of options.
Ethics and Professionalism: The ability to follow laid down procedure as prescribed in policy/ and standard operating procedures.
Ability to be alert to potential conflicts of interests. Ability to bring potential issues of conflict to the attention of the supervisor. Be aware of resources available to resolve ethical issues.
Organisational Awareness: The ability to understand the Municipality’s objectives, and the impact of decisions on the community and the functioning of the department.
Have Basic knowledge about the municipality. Have basic understanding of the local government environment Be aware of the issues impacting services delivery.
Problem Solving: The ability to identify simple problems within a set process. Ability to solve problems of basic nature.
Planning and Organizing: The ability to plan activities within specific timeframes and then to execute these activities according to plan.
